S.I. Goldman Company, Inc. was selected by Charles Perry Partners, Inc. for the Health Central Hospital CEP & Patient Tower Expansion project located in Ocoee, FL. Work in the CEP included the phased installation of (3) new 1,100 ton chillers, cooling towers, pumps, medical gas equipment and associated piping in the CEP. The work is scheduled such that the plant will have a chiller operational during all phases of construction. The second portion of this project was a 35,000 square foot addition to the existing emergency department, phased with 15,000 square feet of renovation, and a new 40-bed patient tower with a mechanical penthouse. Total square footage of all new and renovated areas is over 86,000 square feet. Work in the tower expansion included sheet metal, controls, plumbing, medical gas, and HVAC piping.
